Focus on your Future

Why India?

In 2007, the US saw a slight 9.6% increase in the number of Indian students studying in the US (83,833). Although India remains the largest sender of students to the US, the growth in the number of universities in India, as well as aggressive competition from the U.K., Canada, South Africa and New Zealand are all factors that make the continued presence of US universities in India crucial.

While the region is dominated by students seeking graduate degrees, the undergraduate market continues to grow. Because Linden focuses on both undergraduate and graduate students, we are well positioned to continue to provide successful recruitment opportunities in South Asia. We have added a new feature that allows those universities and colleges who are recruiting only undergraduate students an option to participate in school visits only and add individual fairs where wanted.

Through our extensive relationships with key schools, educational advisers, U.S. Embassy staff and the Foreign Commercial Service, we know how to target marketing efforts to attract an excellent number of highly qualified candidates to our University Fairs. The Linden India Tour also includes two unique features: separate hours at the University Fairs for undergraduates and one-on-one designated interview times the day after the fairs. This fall, the tour visits nine key cities.
