2. Mexico Spring 2006
3. Asia Tour Application Deadline Extended
4. Washington Program 2006
1. New Owners, Same Spirit
As most of you know, Kathy Harrington and I (Darryl
Calkins) recently became
the new owners of Linden Educational Services. We have
worked closely with
Linda Heaney over the past 13 months to make certain
that new leadership
would result in a continuation of the same level of
professional and high
quality service that Linda and Linden have provided
for the last 24 years.
We are both excited about this new chapter in our lives
and about continuing
the many relationships developed through Linden
and to making many more.
We are also very pleased to announce that Linda has
agreed to continue her
relationship with Linden as a project manager and consultant.
Specifically
Linda has agreed to coordinate the Art&Design Tours
this spring and fall and
to organize the Washington Program this spring. We appreciate
very much the
knowledge and spirit that Linda has brought, and continues
to bring, to the
company, and feel fortunate that she plans to stay involved.

2. Mexico Spring 2006 - new!
March 21-28, 2006
Monterrey: March 21-23
Guadalajara: March 23-26
Mexico City: March 26-28. University Fair: Monday, March
27.
This spring, prior to our already publicized Latin America
Tour, we are also
offering two additional stops in Monterrey and Guadalajara.
We will be
arranging visits to schools and universities, sponsoring
counselor events
and setting up individual interviews for interested
students. We will then
join the Spring Latin America Tour in Mexico City and
participate in the
U.S. University Fair and school visits and fairs on
that stop of the tour.
See www.lindentours.com
for details.

3. Asia Tour Application
Deadline Extended
The tour deadlines for both the Northeast and Southeast
Asia tours have been
extended to to Friday, Jan 20. There are a few spots
left for both full
tour and fairs only participants. See www.lindentours.com
for details.

4. Washington Program
2006
The Washington Program facilitates international
recruitment efforts by
introducing U.S. universities to key people and organizations
involved in
international education in Washington, DC. The program,
now in its 13th
year, offers visits to embassies and meetings with U.S.
government
officials. This year, we are inviting guidance counselors
and educational
advisers from Saudi Arabia and Turkey to join us.
A full schedule of informative briefings,
embassy visits, individual time with counselors and
social events is planned for representatives of 25 U.S.
universities. The application is on the site at http://lindentours.com/univ_officials/tours/wp_06/index_06.shtml.
