Education/Current Student Market
In 2006/07, there were 2,211 Ecuadorian students in the U.S.,
reflecting an increase of 1.7%. Ecuador offers a strong undergraduate
market, with 62% of those in the U.S. studying at this level.
Both at the undergraduate and graduate level, the main field
of study is business, followed by health science and engineering.
Of the 324 registered students at the Linden Spring 2007
Guayaquil fair:
Average TOEFL score was 566 of those who had taken the
test.
Business (31%) and Biological Sciences (8%) were the preferred
fields of study.
