Linden opens its fairs to U.S. university representatives making their own travel arrangements. This gives universities choices on where and when to travel and gives Linden the opportunity to introduce more universities to international students at the fairs.

Participants who choose the fairs-only option receive:

• Listing in all advertising and fair publications;
• Regional or country briefings before the fair
• A table, sign and nametag at the fair; and
• Registration lists after the fair.

Linden Tours are limited to 40 participants, and an additional 10 universities may participate on a fairs-only basis. Applications will be reviewed by the Advisory Committee and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis as long as space is available.

Previous Fair Statistics

Of the 296 students who registered at the Linden Fall 2008 Fair:

• 68% want undergraduate study; 22% want graduate study
• 74% want to begin in 2009 and 20% in 2010
• 58% were male and 42% female
• Student requested information about a wide range of majors, with business and engineering in the lead followed by computer science.
